KP-2/20 is an oil solution of high molecular weight polyisobutylene. The diluent oil in KP-2/20 is light-colored paraffinic oil that does not require hazard labeling
Areas of use
bar and chain (saw) oils; slide-way oils; open gear oils and greases; rock drill oils; antimist cutting oils; rust preventatives; wire-rope (cable) lubes; circulating oils; rail curve greases; textile machinery oils; commercial blasting agents; agriculture spray oils.
KP-2/20 contributes significant tackiness when used at concentrations of 0.5 to 2.0 wt %. Since there are no standardized test methods for these properties, the required treat level is best determined by the user.
Packaging and transportation
The additive is packed in steel barrels with a capacity from 100 dm3 to 230 dm3, IBC or consumer containers. The product is transported by any type of transport.
Storage conditions: the additive is stored in a closed container in a dry warehouse of the manufacturer or consumer at a temperature of not more than 50 °С.
Warranty period
4 years from the date of manufacture.
